Accessorize your Nikon!

Most people may already know that Grays of Westminster stock one of the widest varieties of Nikon DSLR camera bodies and Nikon lenses in Europe.
What may not be known is that we also strive to keep all current and many older accessories in stock for SLR bodies and lenses as well. Such things as Nikon filters for B&W photography as well as digital, spare batteries, chargers and AC adapters, remote shutter releases, monitor covers and the tiny caps that tend to go astray from the ten-pin and flash-sync terminals on the camera, ad infinitum. Anything that is not considered as a spare part is generally in stock here.
If you are interested in accessorizing your camera or lens you may want to give us a telephone call on

Following our last e-mail and blog requesting photographs from our customers I have been sent some beautiful pictures – as there is only so much room in one newsletter I’ve included a small selection here, but there are plenty more to share. Please do get in touch if you wish to have any photographs featured in our future email/blog newsletters.

Mr. John Deakin, of South Africa had this to say about his recent purchase at Grays of Westminster :
“You may know that I recently took delivery of some new Nikon gear sent all the way to me here in SA from Grays of Westminster. The service was faultless even though I admit I was a concerned about the parcel reaching me here safely and in one piece.
“After my first recent visit to Grays in April, I was overwhelmed by the Grays store (I would call it the ‘World ‘ s Nikon Mecca’ ) and the help and knowledge of your staff; I knew there and then I would be happy to start a relationship with Grays and I hope it continues long into the future.
“Well, of course what does one do when some new Nikon kit arrives? You just have to go out immediately and see what can be found to be captured. So even though it was in the heat of the midday sun I headed off to our local lagoon here in Knysna on the southern coast of South Africa, my home town for the last six years. Amongst other items I took delivery of a 300mm f/2.8 VRII and a another D3s to replace my earlier body, as well as the new 2x extender, so in the bag it went and I headed off.
“I had read and heard so many great reports regarding the new 300mm 2.8 VRII and 2x extender combination and hoped that the reduced weight and bulk of this set-up against the 500mm would be helpful… it didn’t disappoint and I feel that I can now get back to shooting hand-held when required, as in this image of a Spoonbill feeding on crabs.
“I had a wonderful few hours shooting on my first day with the new Nikon kit supplied by Grays and I hope I can do it justice over the coming months and years with many more images captured. Thank you again. Grays are a great team to deal with and I always look forward to receiving my copy of Nikon Owner to keep me updated on the latest and greatest Nikon gear and news.”
