8mm f/8 Fisheye-Nikkor Lens
Released in 1962, the 8mm f/8 is Nikon’s first production 35mm fisheye lens. Specification: It has an angle of view of 180º, and produces an image circle 24mm in diameter. The long rear cylinder requires the mirror to be in the up-position when the lens is mounted on to a Nikon F camera. It also requires a special optical finder which is fitted to the flash shoe on the side of the camera. Aperture scale: f/8-f/22, mixed focus, 9 elements in 5 groups, built-in filters: L1A (Sky), Y48 (Yellow), O57 (Orange), R60 (Red) and XO (Green), weight: 300g.
