Nikon FM2n body, Dragon Millennium Edition

Brand New / Unused! Exceptionally rare camera No 69 of only 2000 ever made for the year 2000! To celebrate the new Millennium Year 2000 (The Chinese Year of the Dragon), Nikon released a small number of only 2000 bodies NIKON FM2 Millennium Edition bodies inscribed ***/2000 (*** representing the serial number). The serial number of both body and matching lens is 1963 – one of the last crafted. The camera has special markings: a Chinese-style golden Dragon sits above the self-timer and has matching serial numbers for the camera body and 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor AIS lens and is finished in a “Titanium Champagne” coating. The lens is matched to the body with the identical number as the body. It is presented in a rich gold maker’s box with a red satin lining, a white outer shipping carton, warranty card, an instruction manual and a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr. Michio Kariya, President Nikon Imaging Company, Japan. The Dragon is one of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese calendar, and the only animal that is legendary. The Year 2000 is the year of the Dragon.
