Winter Photographic Inspiration
Although many associate January with long nights, short days and it can feel much like the greyest month of winter, there are still plenty of opportunities to take the camera out and capture images.
Whether it’s frost in the early morning (or snow!), capturing the dew on winter foliage after rainfall, or night photography which at this time of year can be done even at 5pm, there is always a chance to take photographs. We have some images from around the Nikon world which we hope will help to inspire you.
This black & white landscape was taken in Lyme Regis by Simon Newman on the Nikon D7200 + 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G AF-S VR handheld!
This clear-cut night shot of the Hoegh Trapper was taken by John Robinson on his new D5 coupled with the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G AF-S VR with a 1.6 second exposure. Lovely work!
This dewy leaf was taken with the D750 & 35mm f/1.8G AF-S, spotted during a winter walk in London.
